Acer TravelMate X514-51 – 14" Full HD Business Laptop Core i7-8th Gen 8GB/500GB
Most budget-friendly refurbished laptops ask you to compromise on build quality to hit a lower price—the Acer TravelMate X514-51 doesn't. Built with a genuine magnesium-alloy chassis, it weighs just approximately 980g and measures a slim 14.9mm thick, making it one of the lightest 14-inch business laptops ever made, refurbished or otherwise. That's a real, tangible difference if you're carrying it to meetings, lectures, or on a commute every day.
This configuration pairs an 8th Generation Intel Core i7 processor with 8 GB of DDR4 memory and a 500GB SSD, giving you fast, responsive everyday performance for office work, browsing, video calls, and general productivity. Intel UHD Graphics 620 handles everyday visual tasks smoothly, and the combination is genuinely well-suited to Microsoft Office, email, video conferencing, and typical business or study workloads, rather than heavier creative or gaming use.
The 14-inch Full HD IPS display delivers sharp 1920 × 1080 resolution with strong viewing angles, so documents, presentations, and video calls all look clear and easy on the eyes. A backlit keyboard makes working in low light straightforward, and the 720p HD webcam with built-in microphone and speakers covers video calls without needing separate accessories.
Connectivity is genuinely well-rounded for a laptop of this age: USB Type-C, two USB Type-A ports, HDMI output, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 5.0 mean you can connect to monitors, accessories, and other devices without hunting for adapters. A 3.5mm headset jack rounds things out for anyone who still prefers wired audio.
As a refurbished unit, this TravelMate X514-51 has been tested and prepared for resale, giving you genuine business-grade hardware—a magnesium-alloy build that competes with laptops costing considerably more when new—at a fraction of the original price. For students, remote workers, or anyone who wants a lightweight, reliable laptop for everyday business computing, this is a smart, practical choice.
